"I have just returned from 4 day stay at the Lodge and I cannot praise it enough. Having seen all the rooms, I was amazed to see them all spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated .
The open plan kitchen & dining area is again spotlessly clean and brand new and the owner allowed us to eat a Take away evening meal, using cutlery and whatever we wanted.
As if that wasn't enough, a sitting room is also provided for guests, with comfortable sofas and television.
The owners, Mike and Jo were very friendly and very helpful with any requests and made the stay even more pleasant.
Highly recommended and suggest early booking to save any disappointment!"

" Originally from Bolsover, wanted accomodation for 4 adults Mike suggested the family room, which was spotless, very pretty and well kitted out, better than some 4star we have stayed in . Mikes first contact was to offer a cup of tea when we arrived , which made us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, no greasy plates here, and plentyfull....much better than a hotel, fresh coffee not instant would have been nice, but i AM picky. Overall GREAT B and B well done Mike and Joe, pleasure to stay where people care about standards."

"Arrived on the Friday night and stayed in the family room, which was large, airy and spotlessly clean. Mike cooked a fabulous breakfast next morning, which both my wife and I enjoyed. Unfortunately our car broke down on the Saturday. It must be said that Mike and Jo helped us beyond all expectation. Both my wife and I feel that we had arrived as guests and left as friends. We will definitely be going back."
